18th Bull’s Blood Wine Festival in Eger

By far the biggest and most popular festival and program series in Eger is a showcase for the wineries of the world-famous wine-producing region of Eger. It is the celebration of two of the region’s most famous wines: the renowned red wine, Eger Bull’s Blood, and its new white counterpart, the Eger Star. Visitors are also treated to Hungarian cuisine at its best while the entertainment is provided by various concerts and live acts since the festival overlaps with the 26th International Folk Dance Gathering of Eger.
